Tour de State College - July 10, 2002 ...well, ok, not really...but you CAN show your support for all the posties as follows: Our local post office is the recipient of one of only 80 US Postal Service Cycling Team flags signed by Lance Armstrong and the other members of the USPS team and distributed within the U.S. There will be a procession ride with the flag from Central Parklet to the Fraser Street post office Wednesday, July 10, followed by a flag-raising ceremony. The original flag will then be raffled and a duplicate will be flown at the post office during the remainder of the Tour de France. A critical mass ride will follow. All members of the cycling community are invited to meet at the Fraser Street post office at 9:00 a.m. July 10 for the event. Media coverage has been arranged. Please plan to participate to show your support of the team and of cycling in our community.
