CentreBike Membership Meeting Minutes

Treasurer Report: Checking account balance is $7,884.04. Membership renewal notices were sent to 68 members and 6 responses were received – 10% return. Hoping return rate continues to improve with automated reminder system.
Melissa Bopp and Mike Bega presented a report on the bike behavior of bike share users compared to non-users.
Tim Nebgen reported that PennDOT’s education focus in May will be on bike safety.
Cecily Zhu noted that bike lights for UPUA have not yet been ordered as the approval for logo use is still in process. The Allen Street Gates location has been reserved for an information table event on April 27th. Cecily volunteered to register CentreBike in the National Bike Challenge.
Paul Rito is planning to organize a Ride of Silence in May. He will also contact FreezeThaw Cycles and The Bicycle Shop about hosting a Commuter Coffee Friday in May – no other locations are being considered.
Michele Chernega gave an update on the CentreGives campaign. Promotions can begin this week and she prepared an email notice to announce that the CentreGives event is May 8-9. The notices will also be posted on Facebook.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it adjourned at 6:35 pm.
