Every year, the United States celebrates bicycling during the month of May. Established in 1956 and sponsored by the League of American Bicyclist, National Bike Month provides an opportunity to promote the benefits of cycling and encourage more people to ride. Throughout the month of May, different organizations throughout the Centre Region will host both informational and social events with aims to amplify these efforts and provide community members with the opportunity to connect with other cyclists.
