“The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is developing an updated Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan for Pennsylvania that will outline a vision and framework for improving conditions for walking and bicycling across Pennsylvania, most notably for those Pennsylvanians who walk and bicycle out of necessity rather than for leisure and recreation. The Master Plan will also identify and help prioritize strategies that increase the number of people walking and bicycling, while supporting safety and multimodal connectivity throughout the state.
The Pennsylvania Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan seeks to outline a vision and framework for improving conditions for walking and bicycling across Pennsylvania, with a focus on Pennsylvanians who walk and bicycle by necessity. With your valued input, the Master Plan will provide recommendations for improving the connectivity, safety, convenience and use of the state’s bicycle and pedestrian networks.
Your participation is essential to help develop a Master Plan that will address the needs of Pennsylvania’s bike and pedestrian community. The following survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and will be available online until further notice. Additionally, the information collected from this survey will be confidential and used solely for developing the Pennsylvania Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. Thank you for your participation.”
