Thanks to the 26 individuals who attended our March 11 open house on the Northland Area Mobility Study, which is focused on potential safety improvements for pedestrians, bicyclists, bus riders and drivers within the study area.

If you were unable to attend our open house and want to submit your comments about potential transportation improvements in the Northland area, please complete our fillable comment form, save to your desktop, and email as an attachment to Ferguson Township Engineer Ron Seybert at rseybert@twp.ferguson.pa.us

Background
In coordination with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), the Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA), and the Centre Regional Planning Agency, Ferguson Township is conducting this transportation mobility study to identify potential improvements in the Northland area, which includes portions of North Atherton Street, Martin Street, Blue Course Drive, Clinton Avenue, Cherry Lane, and Aaron Drive.

The Township and its consultant, McCormick Taylor, expect to present the final study to the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors at its Regular Meeting on Monday, May 6.

The Township also sought public comments on transportation mobility and safety issues, as well as recommendations for improvements in the study area, through an online survey that participants completed in October.
