    TREASURER’S REPORT

    STAKEHOLDER REPORTS

    Bike Light Giveaway seemed very successful. We are waiting for numbers and debrief from Cecily Zhou.

    It was mentioned that Jasmine is looking into re-starting a Bicycle Ambassador program.

    UPDATES

    Matt Cox reported that Centre County’s first Cranksgiving was a great success, with 76 riders bringing over 1,000 llbs and over $2,000 worth of food for the Youth Service Bureau. YSB reported that food was delivered to shelters and Christine Bishop thanked Matt and all who planned and participated. There are plans to do it again next year and right now, date looks like November 7, 2020, with exciting new ride ideas!  Thanks to Matt for organizing and Autumn for being a great second. A thank you card was sent to Elk Creek Cafe for providing beer. (more…)

  • Light Up The Night Bike Light Giveaway

    Free bike light giveaway throughout the Penn State campus on November 4, 2019 was a great success. Many lights were shared and cyclists were very appreciative.

  • The 2019 Mayor Led Family Fun Ride

    Family Fun Ride 2019 – SUCCESS! 

     

    On Saturday September 21st, bicycle advocacy groups joined forces to host a family friendly community bike ride. On this 8 mile slow paced ride, 35 participants joined us to explore some of the bike paths and shared use path’s throughout Ferguson Township and the Borough of State College. Two of our lucky participants won $25 gift cards to our local bike shops. We wanted to thank the following partners who made this event possible: The Borough of State College, Centre Region Planning Agency. CPRP, and Centre Moves. We also wanted to thank all of the volunteers who dedicated their time to make this event possible. Please stay tuned for more community events! Happy Cycling!
