Fall Bike to Work Day may be Bike to Anywhere Day Sept 27 Register your ride at: www.stateCollege.pa.us.engage. And be entered to win Amazon $50 gift card. Some discussion about using local biz for gift card. Tristan made motion to donate Amazon Gift Card, michele seconded and Paul offered to purchase.

Cecily reported UPUA funded bike station for 1 year on Allen outside Borough bldg
Bike racks for sale at surplus but CB needs to get before end of Sept. Autumn & Jasmine says they’d like CB to get some but they’d store them. CB doesn’t want the “toaster rack/wheel bender” kind.
Autumn asked if Cecily will bring a mobile bike rack to the Sept 27 Commuter Coffee 7 – 10 am Jazmine will even have a QR code you can scan and register your ride (& chance to win) when you stop there.
Cecily will have portable CATA rack at Lion Bash to teach folks how to use it
Bicycle Education & Enforcement “BEEP” Because university they can lower fine cost and also go to online bike ed course and get fee waived first time.
“Limited Bike Zone” on campus because you can’t ride on sidewalk unless you yield to pedestrians. Bike lanes on Garner St etc history is there wasn’t room on both sides of road, they are called “climb lanes”
Cecily reports that UPUA is giving $ again for new bike lights

October 3 is next Bike Safety 101 and Paul can’t do this one, so Brian is doing it.
Monday, November 3, 2019 is Light Up Night bike light giveaway.
How many locations? Was discussed. HUB, IST/West Gate, Allen Gates didn’t have much so top of Shortlidge was suggested, Sunset Park was suggested.
Paul asked about light coupons for that night and Jean suggested membership forms to give out w/ lights
Matt said they are working on Cranksgiving (scavenger hunt/food drive/race all in one) and it will benefit Youth Service Bureau rather than Food Bank because the latter doesn’t need it.
Jazmine is having trouble finding vols for Family Fun Ride Sept 21, 10-12 (wants 6-8 vols) Ride is to Orchard and back. VOLS= Registrar, Intersection attendees, After party snack distributor. Getting sandwiches from Jimmy Johns so that’s why she wants people to register.
